Yishun ActiveSG still feels like it’s stuck in the COVID era. The water cooler’s drinking point is completely taped up, preventing people from drinking directly from it. This is very inconvenient — what if someone forgets to bring their own water bottle? How are we supposed to stay hydrated, especially after exercising? It’s surprising that this rule is still in place when most facilities in Singapore have already restored normal access to drinking points. I hope the management can remove the tape and allow users to drink from the water cooler again.
View on GoogleFriendly crowd especially in the morning, they are willing to share the equipment. Here is not the most complete gym equipment but the staff and welcoming crowd make it a great workout.
View on GoogleNot bad considering that it is an active sg gym. Way cleaner than Bukit Canberra gym. But the down side that it’s smaller and has less equipments and hence the longer waiting time and less variety of exercise you can do. Must bring towel.
View on GoogleGood and clean gym! I truly enjoy working out here on weekends for the past 8 years .. However, the front desk staff could be more mindful in their approach. I was repeatedly asked about bringing a towel, even though I had already informed the first staff member—and I was clearly carrying my towel. There’s no need to be so pushy about it. I also brought my 13-year-old son, who is small-built. At the counter, a staff member remarked, “This one less than 12 years right?” I found the phrasing quite rude and dismissive. Referring to someone’s child as “this one” is inappropriate and unprofessional. Also, since all gym passes are purchased via SingPass, it’s not possible for anyone under 12 to even buy a pass—perhaps a reminder for the team to stay updated on this. I hope the staff can be better trained on how to communicate respectfully with patrons. A little courtesy goes a long way.!
