Joined AFSK in sept 2024 and started personal training with Ardy for 36 sessions. Good that Ardy can do early morning training at 7.30 am, which fits my schedule well. Ardy has a pleasant personality and emphasises the importance of setting goals at the start and keeping the trainings consistent to reach the goals set. My physical strength has improved following the sessions. Ardy is a dedicated and passionate trainer, who will grow from strength to strength beyond physical training.
View on GoogleBest PT to Ms Nicole ever at Anytime SK rivervale branch! She is so patient , technique-focused and pushes me to new heights! The gym smells so nice too & cleaner auntie meticulously sanitised on each machine . Definitely the spot to level up your fitness game!
View on Googleterrible staff, especially the one with braces. enforcing rules on individuals rather than focusing on the bigger picture. clearly stated specific rules and calls out those who goes against them but not the powerlifters who takes up public lockers and use chalk. special treatment much? gym filled with stuck up members that entitle themselves. sharing equipment with them makes it seem as if i owe them a living. staff has machine under repair for over a month, nothing done about it. bans the use of gympins because of potential damage but cant get machines repaired? avoiding basic maintenance costs or are gympins really that big an issue asked for discussion amongst staff team but no response or updates. only staff that is friendly is the male chinese with glasses instead of enforcing rules that yall cannot uphold and turn a blind eye when it comes to certain individuals, maybe yall can put in more effort to upgrade this subpar gym with subpar equipment or at the very least, not be a douche about your rules. way better gyms out there, and this is not one of em
View on GoogleIt was my first time signing up for a gym membership. It was very fast smooth and easy.. If youre an introvert or shy dont worry! The staff is friendly and accommodating. I was served by Elton who was very chill and easygoing.. Seems like the place to go for workout!
View on GoogleCame here for a morning workout. Reached around 7am and there were already people working out, but not too many. The place is quite small - one of the smallest AF I've been too. However, there's ample free weight equipment. 1 PL platform, 2 half racks (facing each other so can get squeezy if 1 or both wish to bench), 1 full rack, 4 barbells (2 hybrid bars, 1 Rogue 45lbs PL bar, and 1 WL bar. The bars spin fine, though I didn't check the Rogue bar. The platform is quite bouncy, so it was not ideal for WL. There's also a hex bar and an EZ bar, 5-20kg rubberised plates (not really bumpers) for the platform, and 1.25-20kg rubberised plates for the racks. Out of the free weights area, there are dumbbells up to at least 44kg (forgot to check), cable machines (very few plate loaded ones though), and the usual cardio machines. Facilities wise, there are pigeonholes and lockers, and 3-4 bathrooms (shower and toilet). The gym wasn't staffed when I was there, though someone (presumably a PT) came in at around 9am and did a bit of housekeeping before his client. The gym looks generally quite old (both the equipment and the facilities), but still serviceable. Would be better with a regular platform and bumper plates though.
