The Pick
Why a running shoe fails under a squat
Running foam compresses. Your heel drops, your knee caves, and the bar path moves. A lifting shoe has a hard sole and a raised heel so the squat stays over mid-foot. That is the whole product. If you only walk and machine-circuit, skip this page and keep the trainers you have.

Check the current listing price
The earlier shipping observation does not establish current delivery. Confirm the seller and delivery estimate for the exact shoe size and model before ordering.
Skip if: you only do CrossFit-style mixed sessions and want to run between lifts. That is a training shoe, not this shoe.
Size from the amazon.sg chart, not from your Nike run size. Returns on cross-border listings are slower than a Decathlon shelf. If the bar work is at a commercial gym, take the pair there on day one and do empty-bar squats before you load. Pair with a Gymreapers leather belt only after the shoe is sorted. Find a platform via the gym directory if home has no space for a bar.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need lifting shoes for a home gym?
Only if you squat or pull from the floor. Dumbbell work on a mat does not need them. The first-purchase guide puts shoes after the dumbbells.
Adipower or Romaleos?
