Through their training and exercise guidance - and with their strong physiotherapy background, they've been able to support me effectively in all aspects of my recovery. Both of them have wonderful personalities, and every training session is fun, engaging and something I genuinely look forward to. They are fantastic personal trainers whose expert guidance and constant motivation make every workout enjoyable and effective. The gym at TFX CIMB Plaza ia also a great place to workout. View on GoogleTFx at Cimb is located in the basement of Cimb plaza . Besides the gym , there are also reformer pilates and yoga classes. I come here mainly due to my Personal Trainer. I have been training with Jx for over 8 years. We started when I was in so much shoulder pain , I had to spend 3 hours weekly for back massages in combination with weekly chiropractic treatment. Jx convinced me to start training with him as he immediately zeroed in on my pain point and was able to relive the tensed muscles within half an hour. Through the years, I have lost weight – from a body fat of over 50% to an average of 12% body fat - gained muscle and became stronger. This would not have been possible without Jx’s tough but doable workout, his encouragement and his nutritional tip. At no time am I encouraged to stop eating carbs like the other 3 trainers I have had overseas and in Singapore previously. A shout out to Jx especially when he helped me recover my body strength, co-ordination and flexibility after an abdominal surgery and whiplash from a car accident. The road to recovery through training was tough and at times when I felt I cannot do it, his confidence in me never wavers and thus fuels me. I couldn’t ask for a more dedicated trainer.

Sticking with a trainer for that long only happens when they are consistently excellent. Shawn is incredibly professional but in a totally genuine way. He's always super observant and attentive—he catches the little things about my form and energy, which makes a huge difference. He knows his fitness and stretching techniques inside and out, so I always feel like I'm getting smart, science-backed guidance. What I appreciate most is how he handles stress. If I come in completely drained or tense from work, he immediately pivots. Instead of just grinding through reps, we focus on therapeutic stretching and tension release. This isn't just a quick cool-down; it's a dedicated effort that helps me truly relax and release tension, leading directly to the best sleep I get all week. He understands that training is about the whole body, not just the workout itself. If you want a trainer who is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely cares about your overall well-being (including getting quality sleep!), you won't find anyone better than Shawn. Highly, highly recommend!
