Very conveniently located near hougang mrt and near home clean with new equipment but toilets maintenance can be improved
View on GoogleCould have been better if there were few more additional gym equipments with good condition of barbell since 2-3 are quite rusted out and the water filter is near toilet area which is absurd and that should have been near reception instead.
View on GoogleTotally user friendly. In my perspective & the pricepoint that I paid for. This gym facility is sufficient enough for me. As compare to nearby AF, the crowd here is way better, really can’t complain anymore. Toilet wise is decent. There are 2 cubicles for each gender. Didn’t come gym for the toilets anyways but yeah. Not the best but ain’t too shabby either. 7/10 I hope this outlet stay like this so won’t have crowd issues😋
View on GooglePros: - Great idea to have a gym under a HDB block, it's very convenient for nearby residents given that it's 24/7. - Facilities wise, not great but decent. Able to have a decent full body workout. - There are toilets available. At first they look abit rundown but they are actually relatively clean and decently maintained. - During offpeak period (e.g. some weekdays afternoon), it's not crowded and there are only a few people around. Cons: - My biggest issue is that the gym is full of young teens (guys aged 18 to 25) and they do not have basic gym etiquette. At times some girls too. Alot of them are hogging machines, cables and benches every time. They'll just sit there using hp and rest about 10 mins or more between each set (what's the point in training right?) and it's very inconvenient for serious trainers like myself. This can happen even during offpeak period. - When you ask to share, they will oblige reluctantly and then back to sitting there again once you're done with your set and after they are done with theirs. It can be frustrating if I have to keep asking since I dun rest too long between sets and it disrupts my momentum. - Worse, I have noticed some just continue to sit there and use hp even when they are done. - During peak hours, the gym can be really crowded and it's a relatively small gym so you can imagine the crowd. Coupled with the fact that many young users like to hog equipment, you won't be able to have a decent workout when the gym is crowded. Maybe the management can put up reminders telling users not to hog machines when they are not using them or want to rest.
View on GoogleThere are a few outlets, and I would say the gym is decent. It can get crowded due to the small space. However, do take note due to it being underground the toilets and etc aren't the best but still usable. Staff are responsive to messages and are really friendly. For the price , I would say the cons are tolerable and it's worth it.
